Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe

October 17, 2016

It’s officially Pumpkin Spice Latte time! Here in Northern Michigan the leaves are beginning to fall signaling the end of October here in Petoskey. The leaves are turning gorgeous shades of red, orange and yellow, even in our back yard! We spent Saturday up at Pond Hill Farm in Harbor Springs taking in beautiful fall colors, hayride, pumpkin patch and more! I couldn’t believe how crowded it was on m-119 but I always have to remind myself that we live in one the most beautiful places and that many visit on weekends taking in what I take for granted every day.

My favorite part of fall, aside from the colors is pumpkin. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin bars, pumpkin cookies and even pumpkin lattes! I just love everything about the pumpkin from the color to the taste. What I don’t always enjoy is wasting a lot of money on the delicious seasonal coffee drinks that appear a few months out of the year and I was willing to bet I could make it at home for a lot cheaper. I was right!

If you love pumpkin spice lattes as much as I do I highly suggest you try out this recipe and make one or two for yourself at home. You can even customize it. Want more pumpkin flavor? Simply add more pumpkin! Want more yummy pumpkin pie spice flavor? Add an extra dash! Anything goes and it only take a few minutes to make.
