Easter Egg Hunts in Northern Michigan

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! Can you believe it’s St. Patty’s Day already? What a great day and the sun is shining up here in Petoskey. It’s a tad chilly but our snow is melting rapidly and Easter is only a few weeks away AND the kids won’t have to search for Easter eggs in several feet of snow like last year! I’m always glad to see the snow gone by the time the Easter Egg hunts roll around. It just means we are one day closer to summer!

Today, on the blog I’m bringing you local Easter Egg Hunts here in Northern Michigan. It’s one of my absolute favorite spring events. It gets us outside, enjoying the fresh air and it’s just plain fun! I loved hunting for Easter Eggs when I was a kid and I looked forward to it every year. Now that I’m an adult, it’s become tradition in our house as well.

Make sure to check the dates and times before heading out! And the Easter Bunny is downtown at Grandpa Shorter’s on Lake Street in Petoskey on the Friday and Saturday before Easter!! The Easter Bunny will be passing out treats, talking to the kids and you can snap a picture with your Smartphone!
