Employee Spotlight: Maddie

Meet Maddie! Here for her fifth summer at GSG, we have known Maddie since she was only 14. Maddie just finished her first year at Michigan State University studying Advertising Management with minors in French and Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation. Her passion for marketing and its influence is why she will be working as GSG’s Assistant Marketing Strategist.

Maddie’s favorite part about her job is talking to the summer customers and hearing the amazing places they are visiting Petoskey from, which stems from her love of traveling. Her favorite product in the store are our Wigwam socks because she is always cold, and they keep her warm when she is walking to class or hiking in the UP.

Back at school, Maddie will be working as a Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence Awareness teacher. In her free time, Maddie loves to do yoga, hike with her dog, Lizzie,  and read about the psychology behind human behavior. Make sure you say hi to Maddie the next time you stop in the store!
