Grandpa Shorter's Employee Feature

(Our featured March employee is Ken T.)

Ken has been with Grandpa Shorter’s for a little over 2 years as their shipping and receiving manager. When he’s not in the shipping and receiving area at Grandpa Shorter’s, Ken can often be found helping other Grandpa Shorter’s staff around the store and is often referred to as the store handyman.

Born and raised in Harbor Springs, Ken is local to the area and has been married for over 33 years. He has a son and a daughter and two beautiful granddaughters: Izzie 5 and Amelia age 2.

When asked what his favorite Grandpa Shorter’s item is, he responded that he’s a ‘traditional’ guy and enjoys all things Petoskey Stones.

On his days off, Ken can often be found outside enjoying nature walks, hunting, golfing during the warmer months and spending quality time with his family.
