Northern Michigan Trick or Treating Fun!
Halloween is less than a week away and we are getting ready for a fun weekend whirlwind of trick or treating this year. My kiddos are finally to the age where they all enjoy getting dressed up and trick or treating. This yea, Halloween happens to fall on a Saturday, meaning almost every trick or treating event seems to happen all in one day. I’m not sure I should be really, really excited or scared. It’s going to be a long day for sure, but hopefully a really fun and memorable one!
Today, on the blog, I’m providing you with a list of local trick or treating days, various events and times so you can plan your weekend.

Halloween here in Northern Michigan is often unpredictable. You usually have NO idea what the weather will be like until the morning of and even then, it’s kind of hit or miss. Have you seen the photos floating around on social media stating ‘you know you live in Michigan when you parents design your Halloween costume around your snowsuit’ It’s true, all of it. I remember it snowing on Halloween and I was a kid. The last few years, we’ve gotten lucky.
If you are in the market for some last minute, WARM, Halloween costumes check out Colleen’s post on Costumes for Cold Weather, here.
