Mandala Dish Painting Class
What: The word mandala is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning circle. It is said to represent the universe. Mandalas typically start in the center and radiate out from there in an ever widening pattern, using colors and shapes to design an intricate pattern. There is no wrong or right in the art of mandala. You make choices that feel right to you, in the moment, and when you are done, you stand back and admire your creation. We will be painting mandalas on small porcelain bowls. Perfect for placing on your bedside table, vanity, or window sill to keep rings in while you sleep or wash up. No experience is required.
