Teacher Appreciation Gift Ideas

May 7, 2018

Teacher appreciation week is this week May 7th- May 11th and I have some wonderful ideas for you! I’m not sure about you, but my children’s teachers are awesome. They are everything you would want in a a teacher: loving, smart, caring, patient and kind. Communication has always been a two way street and I feel comfortable talking to each and every one of them.

Being a former teacher myself, I understand how hard it is. It’s NOT an easy job. I hear a lot of people say ‘teachers get 3 months off and they only work 8-3pm.’ That is not even close to the truth! Many teachers not only buy school products using their own money, many get to school as early as 7am, stay until at least 4 pm and then take work home with them for the evening. Most teachers I know even work summer jobs and have children of their own. That’s not an easy task!

If you know a teacher consider thanking them, whether it’s a simple thank you so something hand maid such as that ideas I’ve provided below. They will appreciate you for it!
