Valentines Day is less than a month away, so why not start thinking out of the box for some fun and unique ideas! Today’s blog post. Here at Grandpa Shorter’s focuses on breakfast. It’s seriously my favorite meal of the day and there are so many fun Valentine breakfast ideas out there that you are sure to find one that suits you. These ideas are great for kids too! Who doesn’t love waking up to a special breakfast? I know I do! Breakfast is one of my favorite meals of the day and I often makes it for dinner. That’s me! I can often be found making the kids and my husbands homemade pancakes and sausage or french toast and bacon on any given night. It’s easy and it tastes great!

Grandpa Shorter's Valentines Day Recipe Bagel Breakfast Food Kids

Today’s recipe is a very simple, but cute, Valentines day bagel. My oldest kiddo absolutely adores bagels, he could eat them every day of the week and I sometimes even pack them in his lunch with a small side of cream cheese for easy dipping. I thought of this idea because he loves them so much.

This Valentines day bagel only requires a heart shaped cookie cutter, some strawberries, cream cheese and food coloring. If you would prefer to not use fooding coloring, you can easily substitute strawberry cream cheese, yum! Best of all, if you’re a busy mom like me, this doesn’t take long at all and would be perfect for a busy school morning!

Valentine Breakfast Bagel Ingredients –

heart shaped cookie cutter
cream cheese
fresh strawberries or raspberries
