Happy Tuesday everyone! The sun is shining and it’s gorgeous here in Northern Michigan. And, warm!!! I hope this weather sticks! St. Patty’s day is already next Tuesday, March 17th! Crazy and fun! Anything to break the mid-winter blah’s!

Last week on the blog I shared a yummy and easy Andes Mint Chocolate Cookie recipe to satisfy any sweet tooth you may have this St. Patrick’s Day and Colleen Shared her Great Grandmother’s delicious homemade Irish Soda bread recipe. Today on the blog, I rounded up 10 fun St. Patrick’s Day crafts and activities for you do with the kiddos, young or old. St. Patricks’s day is for everyone of all ages!

10 St. Patrick’s Day Activities for Kids

#1. St. Patrick’s Day Leprehcaun Trix by Smart School House which also includes a cool FREE printable. This would be fun snack to put together with the kids to take to school and pass out in the classroom and share with friends.

#2. St. Patrick’s Day Marble Painting by Plain Vanilla Mom. Perfect for the little’s. Add a few drops of green colored paint and let the marbles roll back and forth to make this unique craft.

#3. Shamrock Handprints from the Examiner. All you need is a little green washable paint making it a fun, quick and easy  craft for kids of all ages!

#4. Paint Chip Shamrocks by Childcareland Blog. I love this activity and it’s FREE. Grab a handful of green paint chips at any local hardware store!

#5. Cereal Rainbow Craft by Growing A Jeweled Rose. What kiddo doesn’t like to munch on Froot Loops? Ok, it’s maybe not an everyday treat but every once in a while my kiddos enjoy this stuff!

#6. Paper Plate Leprechaun by Crafty Morning.

#7. St. Patricks Day Scavenger Hunt by Love Grows Wild. I think this was my favorite activity. I loved, loved, loved doing fun stuff like scavenger hunts growing up. This could be modified for younger and older kids too which I love!

#8. FREE St. Patty’s Day Printables from Teachers Pay Teachers (you will have to register but the downloads are free). Simple, quiet activity for the kids.

#9. Sparkly St. Patty’s Playdough by Kid Things. We LOVE homemade play-dough at our house. It’s easy to make and cheap! My kids also tend to put it away after playing with it some days so it gets tossed. I’ve never added sparkles to our dough either so I thought this was a fun touch!

10. Homemade Shamrock Shakes by Saving Dollars and Sense. I couldn’t NOT add this to the list. It’s easy and so yummy!!! Plus, making it at home save you some cash!

How do you celebrate St. Patrick’s day with your family? Do you have a craft or just a fun activity that you enjoy?
