Join us for a fun-filled and delicious day at Petoskey’s 1st Annual Banana Bread Festival!
Bring Your Banana Bread to be Judged:
Do you have a signature banana bread recipe? You can bring your own creation (up to 2 loaves) to Grandpa Shorter’s Gifts between 9 AM and 11 AM. The bread will be tasted by a panel of three judges, including a professional chef.
Judging Starts at 1 PM:
The panel of judges including a professional chef will begin judging the bread at 1 PM.
Winners Announced at 3 PM:
The winners from each category will be announced at Grandpa Shorter’s Gifts and broadcasted live on Facebook Live at 3 PM. Winners from each category will receive $250 in gift certificates from local businesses. Categories include:
- Amateur Baker
- Professional Baker
- Child Baker
- Gluten-Free
Businesses throughout downtown will be offering banana-themed specials to add to the fun.
